[SOLVED] Hi I have a crossblade ranger motherboard and was wondering if i can upgrade my amd athlon x4 860k to a better cpu

I have a RX 570 and a Athlon X4 860k cpu and was wondering if I could get anything better than the cpu i already have and it being compatible with my mobo (crossblade ranger)

The 880k has a higher clock speed, but you can achieve the same clock speed with the CPU you have with a decent cooler considering you already have a decent motherboard. Other than that, there is really nothing further you can do to improve performance in the area of the CPU for that platform. Anything else will require a full platform upgrade.
