Hi,
I have a problem with my new system:

Cpui: AMD FX 9590 (eight processor) - socket 942
Motherboard: ASUS Pro Gaming Aura - Bios last 0501
Memory: DDR3 Corsair 1866 - 4 X 8 GB - Total 32 GB
Video: MSI Nvidia 980ti gaming - 6 GB Memory DDR5

I've problem with 2 games: GTA5 & Batman Arkham Knight. During a game the system will be freeze and I don't know exactly the problem.

What is the best bios setting for this motherboard?
What is the best video settings for Nvidia 980ti?

There is a program for identify better the component (cpu. memory, nvidia) with the problem?

Regards

Solution

So you completely ignore the linked article where ASUS says do not use an FX-9000 series processor. The only boards that can even run an FX-9590 even vaguely reliably is 990FX boards which this is not. Even those people have problems with it, we see it here all the time. The poster paid a certain amount of money...
unless you got really good cooling and a really good poweruspply, that system is burning you can excepect 90c temps, and alot of spikes from your powersupply.
i defenetly you going to intel and grab another powersupply.

its hardware related, i heard from mods that that 9590 is VERY unstable.

What are you using to cool the processor and what exactly is your power supply?

EDIT:

ASUS specifically says not to use FX-9000 series processors in this motherboard:

http://www.anandtech.com/show/10005/asus-launches-970-pro-gaming-aura-motherboard

Socket is rated at 125w. The boards VRM's are likely not delivering enough power to the processor.

There is no way to fix this other than replace the processor with one that will work such as the FX-8370 which is the highest supported processor.

One immediate test for you to try is to UNDERclock the processor to FX8350 speeds .
You definitely do not need to replace the processor at this time

If it is stable then the fears of the previous two comments are confirmed. Cooling not good enough and maybe psu not good enough

Even if he updated the cooling and the PSU, the motherboard cannot handle the processor even at stock speeds, as per the manufacturer.

If he just bought it he should pack it back up and return it while he still can.

with a 970 board maybe a 95w fx8300 or the 8320''E'' chips may be the better fit

you got to watch out with asus they lie and lie bad this is one of many boards that show 220w chips support in the cpu list but the board are only rated for at most 140w ??

they even went as far as changing the sabertooth r2 specs on there site to show 220w support but there truly were 140w boards when released

you been fooled by the asus hype ..

''Supports CPU up to 140 W''

your board [why I don't get as well ]

FX-9370(FD9370FHW8KHK, 4.4GHz, 8C, L3:8M, 220W,rev.C0,AM3+) ALL 0401 GO
FX-9590(FD9590FHW8KHK, 4.7GHz, 8C, L3:8M, 220W,rev.C0,AM3+) ALL 0401

''Supports CPU up to 125 W''
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA/specifications/

asus has got pretty untrustworthy these days [opinion]

you see this stuff on most everything the make board wise

The power supply is a 850 W Coolermaster modular. The bios settings is in auto mode except the fan and memory settings. I see about the Cpu temperature will be grow up until the 71 C° max. The system be freeze.

What specific coolermaster model. Also what is your CPU cooler.

That is the thermal limit of the processor, its definitely overheating.

You will be fine with any of the 125 watt processors .

Down clocking your 9xxx processor to FX 8350 speeds instantly turns it back in to one

avoid the 95 watt 8 cores if you would like performance. They are tuned for power saving and just dont work as well even if you overclock them

Actually having checked the boards cpu support list I think you may well be fine at higher than FX 8350 speeds . The 125 watt limit in the specification page is an obvious misprint . The board and its VRM's are obviously designed to handle the 220 watt load . But then even boards like that will sometimes struggle with 9XXX processors .

Start at FX 8350 speeds and if it is stable then lift the multiplier and try again

So you completely ignore the linked article where ASUS says do not use an FX-9000 series processor. The only boards that can even run an FX-9590 even vaguely reliably is 990FX boards which this is not. Even those people have problems with it, we see it here all the time. The poster paid a certain amount of money for this chip, he should put it back in the box and return it while he still can as his board cannot handle it. He can then save that money and buy a chip his board can run. Could he underclock it? Yeah he could but then he wasted the extra money when he can just return it and get the correct processor.

Again 970 is not rated to run FX-9000 series processors at full speed and never has been. The specs page is not a misprint, in fact ASUS boards that do run the 9590 even have an "FX-9000" certified logo on the specs. Example:

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/

He needs to return the processor while he still can before he loses his money on it. He will save $50 running an FX-8370, and with an 7+1 power phase it should have no problem with that processor.

Solution
did you not se4e the specs on that sabertooth r2 [before asus kindly change it to make sales] that shows its not a 220w board [another asus mislead]

''Supports CPU up to 140 W''
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/asus_sabertooth...

''Supports AMD 140W CPU'' [page 10 of the manual]

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/414973/Asus-Sabertooth-990fx-R2-0.html?page=10#manual

plenty of reviews shows the same

asus is a joke cant trust them anymore and tricks you into a sale at your cost

but to what you said above

''The ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura supports all AMD FX processors in AM3+ form-factor with up to 125W TDP as well as their predecessors, such as the Phenom II, the Athlon II and the Sempron 100-series chips (but advised against using the 220W FX-9000 series''

http://www.anandtech.com/show/10005/asus-launches-970-pro-gaming-aura-motherboard

sad thing is asus put the 220w chips in the supported cpu list like its all fine and dandy

then a guy like the OP sees that and never looked at the true facts and look now where he is .. asus fooled him like so many others in this mess with 220w chips on asus boards

and as I say in other post on this ''my last 3 asus was my last asus''
