Hi, i need some help with this speedfan/hwmonitor readings

Hi again, well yesterday i got my parts for my new pc and i started to monitor how things were in the case and turns out that speedfan for some reason is only showing me the temps not voltages and also dosent allow me to control the cpu fan (Stock i7 4770k cooler), so i am using also Evga presicion to check gpu temps (An old 9800 gtx+ card) and those 2 are even on each software, BUT, when i use HWmonitor the CPU cores temps change and are like 9º celcius hotter, the gpu temps match the same with the other 2 softwares, its only the cpu that is showing different core temps.

Now i would like to know what is the max RPM of the i7 4770k cooler fan because the max i always seen it on the BIOS is 1150 RPM and to me its kinda low idk.

SpeedFan shouldn't really be used for temperature readings. It never really worked for me either. I would trust HWMonitor much more. There are 4 cores in your CPU and each one has a digital temperature probe. They are usually different because of their location and cooling. Don't worry about cooling your CPU manually, it controls it by itself.

Well i went into the BIOS and disabled the cpu q fan option to see if that could make the fan ups his RPM but it didnt.

Do you know whee i can find the RPM of the fan because like i said the max i have seen is 1150 RPM on the fan cooler but i dont know if thats its max or thats not it, for me it seems low.

Try a stress test like IntelBurnTest and see if it increases. I wouldn't worry about it if your PC is working correctly.

I installed Intel extreme tunning utility and made a 1 minute stress test, the cpu went 100º and i could never hear the fan working, NEVER, this is driving me nuts how is possible that fan always stays on idle?

Now i just opened the case to check everything is fine, this problem is software related not hardware related im sure of it since i restarted my pc and i could hear the cpu fan at full speed and even on the BIOS was at 2400 RPM which is like at 30% of its maximum speed.

Make sure the CPU fan is plugged into the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.
