This is my laptop for school. The processor is a bit too weak for me so I wanted to upgrade it, By getting a laptop CPU from ebay.

So for motherboard/CPU pros out there can you guys tell me if this cpu is soldered on or not? So I can change it to something better? :)

I checked CPU-Z and this is the results

Name: Intel Pentium 3558U
Code name: Haswell Ult Max Tdp:15.0W

Package: Socket 1168 BGA

Technology: 22nm Core voltage: 0.682 V - 0.777 V

This is just some quick info on what I found on CPU-Z. Hope you guys can help me out! :)

Pentium 3558U uses socket FCBGA1168 "BGA" as in ball grid array, CPU is soldered to the board with balls. Can't be swapped out.
