Hi! I plan to upgrade my laptop's CPU. But I'm not sure if it is solderedd on the motherboard or not.

This is my laptop for school. The processor is a bit too weak for me so I wanted to upgrade it, By getting a laptop CPU from ebay.

So for motherboard/CPU pros out there can you guys tell me if this cpu is soldered on or not? So I can change it to something better?

I checked CPU-Z and this is the results

Code name: Haswell Ult Max Tdp:15.0W

Package: Socket 1168 BGA

Technology: 22nm Core voltage: 0.682 V - 0.777 V

Pentium 3558U uses socket FCBGA1168 "BGA" as in ball grid array, CPU is soldered to the board with balls. Can't be swapped out.

No luck for you. It's soldiered that's what the bga in the socket type means

But ebay showed up with alot of CPUS when I searched the socket name. So those cpus are also soldered on?
