Question Hi i recently Built a machine with the ryzen 7 2700 with 8gb of XPg Ram 3000 Mhz and gtx 1050 and the motherboard Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0

the issue is that i have installed windows 10 and when i go to system properites it shows only 7.93 gb no usable maessage shows up could somone help thanks

What slot do you have the memory stick in? Or is it 2x 4gb sticks?

USW WIN+R KEY, TYPE IN MSCONFIG, GO TO BOOT TAB, advanced options, go to maximum memory tab and click on box. Tell me what it shows in there. Do not save anything just yet.

It’s one stick of ram and I’ve already tried that methods of going on msconfig and using max memory but still same thing but it says 0 atm

Ok did you try the memory in the other slot? Also what is the memory model number, ADATA XPG 8G WHAT? Like AX----

I haven’t tried putting it in the other slot but I’m sure it will appear the same and the model number is AX4U300038G16A-SB10 hopefully this helps
