Hi, my realtek is altering the sound quality on my computer. My music and any video I watch online sound muted and not clear. I'm not sure what I did to alter it - I had tried plugging in a microphone a week ago and perhaps I edited some settings but I thought I changed everything back. all my music sound horrible and I can't figure it out.

Open the "Realtek HD Audio Manager" in Windows Control Panel or from it's icon in the notification area at bottom-right.

Click the "Sound Effects" tab and make these changes if necessary:

Environment = None
Equaliser = None

Then click the 'OK' button to save the new settings.
