Hi. My Samsung 840 evo can't OS optimze because of Write Cache Buffer

I have no idea what is causing the issue. Sometimes I can click settings in advance to get the SSD into a setting manually, but the cache activate button is always screwy. Once I restart something disengages the OS optimization and it resets to advance. help! I'm willing to answer anything



IT'S not solved. I restarted, and it reset back to advanced

Update your SATA controller driver. I had a friend who had this issue and upon updating his SATA controller driver, Write Cache buffer and write cache buffer-flushing became modifiable.
