[SOLVED] HI PALIT GEFORCE GTX 660TI 2GB JETSTREAM

Hi, have got an intel i5-6500 and 550w psu, 1 ssd 1 hdd, 8gb ram,
will install a used Palit GEFORCE GTX 660TI 2GB JETSTREAM, which has 2 x 6 pin connectors for power,,,,will my system handle it??? im not good with these things,,,,, hehehe, please , any help advise is appreciated.....its not for my pc,, its for another

Yes your system will handle it with no issues assuming your PSU has 2 6pin connectors which is very likely but just to be sure you can always check that.

No i would not recommend that, using adapters from molex usually dont end well from what ive heard.

Highly recommend you to just get a new psu if you want to save yourself from future problems with your GPU and even your psu.

That's not a 550w PSU, it's a 240w fire hazard. It belongs in a recycling bin not a computer.

ok ty, and thsi will cover the 2 x6pins i need? it says it has only 1 x 6+2, can i take that 6 pin and make it into 2 6pins??

The CX 550 has 2 pci-e 6+2 pin connectors.
