Hi ok so got a new pc it's pretty good but no OS so asked a friend to burnt windows 8.1 on cd and it didn't work so bought windows retail and it still won't work but now it's like saying problem with pc reading files then restarting and then saying windows did not run right so please contact admins or aomthing like that ? Please help thanks

Verify your memory with MEMTEST. A bad DIMM could cause Windows installation to fail. There are other things, but that is a prime candidate.

Hi thanks a lot but how do I do that? And when I first put windows to install ( the burnt pirate version ) it gave me a option to choose 64b or 32 and I didn't have a keyboard at the time so it stayed at 32bit pc not the windows so does that matter? Everytimw I install the windows retail one the pc comes Into a problem and restarts it also saying my bios need to be enable so I can chose my drive ? Sorry a lot of stuff

Go to MEMTEST website and download the test. Burn IT to a CD and boot the test (no OS needed). Let it run for 2 to 4 HOURS. If there are zero errors then you probably don't have a memory or memory controller error.

Thanks for reply, I don't have another pc to do that, I took it to a pc repair shop 🙁 see if they can fix it
