Hi there. I am trying to build a pc from scratch... When finished the fans where spinning , the cpu fan was fine but there where no connection on the monitor. Actually i used my tv as monitor. I connected with HDMI through my motherboard but there was no signal. My motherboard has intergrated graphics. I check my ram stick and its ok...my cpu is ok too...have you got any idea???

My parts are

Motherboard gigabyte z490m
I5 10499f
Samsung 860 evo ssd
Ddr4 8g 2666mhz Corsair

Solution
No it doesn't, not like old days. These days the igpu resides in applicable processors. F model CPU's don't include igpu making video ports on the motherboard useless.
No connection on? Monitor?

Ya might want to explain what's going on in the thread body instead of title because of limited characters.

If you do mean no display on monitor, your cpu being an F model doesn't have integrated graphics so the motherboard video ports are inactive. You'll need a graphics card.

Thank you so much for the reply....but my motherboard has intergated graphics...isnnt that enough?

No problem. If this system is meant for playing games at any moderate level you'll be better off anyway with a graphics card, ie GTX 1660super. Igpu is ok for general stuff but is quite weak.

See graphics card hierarchy chart.

If you're going to be looking for a graphics card for your purposes make sure your power supply has the necessary wattage and connections to support it. If need only video for basic functions and some light gaming then maybe a GT 1030 or GTX 1650, both don't need a whole lot of power to run.

..i have ordered gt1030 and i have a psu 550 watt bronze plus Corsair...so i think it would be enough....
