Hibernate is broken

I use hibernate instead of power off, but a couple days ago I put my OS drive in a friend's tower in order to install some games and when I put the drive back in my tower...hibernate doesnt work anymore...my screens just go blank and then nothing else, my fans don't spin down and my leds down shut off. Any and all help is appreciated in advance.

Does your friend have identical hardware ? If not, your OS is trying to load drivers for hardware it can't find and no drivers for the hardware it can find; there's no way this mish mash will work.

Disregarding hibernation, does it work (mostly) OK?

I actually straightened out all of my drivers, so no problems there... at least I bloody well hope so, took me hours to fix 'em all. Anyway, aside from hibernation it works fine.

So...turn hibernation OFF

Power off and reboot a couple of times.

Then turn it back on.
See what happens.

After some diagnosis I have discovered that it appears that none of my power options are working...oh joy of joys

I just gave up and re-installed...
