HID Compliant mouse error, cannot find any solution!

So a few days ago I left my computer running for a bit then i come back and the mouse isn't working, keyboard is fine but mouse cursor isn't showing nor does it respond to anything at all, despite the fact that it's powered on hence the lights on the mouse are showing. Ibe tried just about every solution that I could find on the internet, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, updating drivers, changing power settings, going into msconfig, and some other attempts. I even went out and bought a ps/2 adapter to plug it into the ps/2 port to see if it would work there but no luck. I absolutely don't know where to go from here.

And when I run the troubleshooter it just says to restart the conputer, which I've done a million times already but nothing helps:

Even though lights are on, the mouse could have died.
Have you tried another USB port or connecting the mouse to another computer?

No, that's not a possibility because I went out and got a new mouse and it's still not working with the new mouse either, plus the mouse works fine on my laptop. Also I've tried just about every different usb port on my pc, so that's not the issue.

Go to Device Manager.
Click the View menu and enable 'Show hidden devices.'
Connect the mouse.
Expand the Mice and other pointing devices.
Also expand the Human Interface devices and any Unknown Devices entry.
uninstall all 'HID-compliant mouse' and and any 'Unknown Devices entry.'
Disconnect the mouse and reboot.
When back into Windows, connect the mouse back.

Well, just tried your solution and I plug it back in and the HID complaint mouse comes back with a yellow alert sign next to it. I Don't see any unknown device options but I see hid compliant consumer control device in the human interface devices. Tried uninstalling these , unplugging, and restarting but no luck. Everytime I plug back in after reboot it'll still show the mouse driver back as hid compliant mouse with a yellow alert sign next to it.

Do you have the KB4074588 update installed?
Uninstall the update and see if the mouse works.
