Hey Guys, would like a little help on configuring the system in windows 7, to be more precise I'm accelerating my PC with an hardware methodology.

I have 3 HDs and I have put my OSes on the first drive, the program files on a second and the page file on the last. Now, this is were the tricky part is, I made a partition on the last one and put the page file in it ala linux (this is a data drive but not backup, so yeah I still need partitioning).

Does anyone know how to hide the partition in the explorer but still keep the drive letter, as the Page File only sit on drive with a letter.

Methods already tried:
1. User Policy, gives you a way to do it but without choosing the drives to hide (you can hide a D for example, but for coherence I would just like to loose the last letter).
2. Tweak UI for Win XP was letting you do this but the Tweak UI for 7 doesn't show this option anymore...

Agreed, but having a page file on a hard drive can be even faster than 3 page files, as I don't really think that windows has a payload counter...
Dedicating a page file on a hard drive that isn't used either for system either for programs, gives you (when not idle) a great advantage.

Ok, for anyone wondering...

1. Follow the info here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/hide-drives-from-your-computer-in-windows-vista/
2. and for lazy people like me who hate maths..., this is the conversion table http://superuser.com/questions/35338/can-i-remove-the-drive-letter-on-the-sd-card-im-using-for-readyboost for each number

For people wondering for 64bit arch, the procedure is exactly the same,so you still put an 32bit (DWord) and not a 64 (QWord) in the newly created registry key.
