Hi everyone! I recently sold my 1070 for the asus strix 1080 Ti OC edition, but I'm getting quite high temperatures on my CPU(I7 7700K) and GPU, I just want a second opinion as I have done some searching and my temps don't seem to be that high, but I don't want to harm my components. Idle tems seem to be fine with GPU tems around 30-35°C and CPU tems around 35-40°C on idle, when I start gaming, after a while temps will reach around 70-80°C on my GPU and 75-80°C on my CPU. Keep in mind I'm not doing any overclocking on any of my components. I have the Thermaltake
Water 3.0 Extreme S liquid cooler on my CPU(4.2 Ghz) .
My rig:
Motherboard:Gigabyte Z270X - Gaming 5
Cpu:I7 7700K at 4.2 Ghz
Gpu:ASUS Strix 1080 Ti OC edition
Cpu cooler: Thermaltake water 3.0 Extreme S
OS:windows 10 pro
RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4 at 2133Mhz Kingston
I tested my temps through the Asus tweak II program and Speccy.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Greetings
Morné

Solution
First off, those temperatures are safe, so no need to panic, but I suspect they could be better, especially the CPU, which seems very hot for an i7 7700K under water.

Try running the system with the case side panel removed, if the temperatures drop you have a airflow issue.
