My CPU is currently running at 98oC whilst playing the Battlefield 1 beta and will be at that temp for most the games I play (including at 95oC when running a 3Dmark test). Its at 75oC whilst only running chrome. I have only just installed 3 120mm intake fans on the top of the PC, a 140mm exhaust fan on the back, 120mm exhaust on the bottom and a 200mm intake fan on the front of the PC. So I have 6 fans on the PC in total (not including component fans). I have the stock cooler on the CPU. When I installed the 5 new fans I dusted the interior of the PC. My PC never seemed to run this hot before (around a month ago) although I never monitored it.

My PC specs are as follows:
i7-2600k
GTX 770
16gb ram
750W PSU
Windows 7

Thanks in advance

2600? it's been there for a while, maybe you need to refresh the thermal paste? as well as.. actually the stock cooler is kinda garbage.. you shouldnt be gaming on a stock cooler (nothing "wrong" with it.. but for the life of CPU you want to keep the temps down especially when it's going to be put under the constant load)

98c is pretty bad to be running at, you are right around that very dark place lolz.

try get your hands on an Evo 212
