Question High CPU temp

I would like to ask why my CPU temp peaks 90+degrees when i play COD Warzone/Apex Legends while its idle temp is around 45-50degrees. I bought my pc last March 2019 and haven't changed the cpu thermal paste since. I've also done removing dust from my pc for several times already. Im running both with the lowest settings in 1440p.

i7-8700 + IDcooling auraflow x 120mm
H310-M asus
16gb hyperx 2400mhz
gtx1660Ti zotac

Could be your 120mm AIO is not working properly or has somehow shifted the block as your temps in gaming are very high.

Run Hardwareinfo for temps and Cinebench R20 to get a max baseline under load on temps..

Can you also check the pump speed with HardwareInfo and report back? If the pump is still spinning then re-install with new thermal paste.
