Question high cpu temp

Hi, my cpu temp when playing games is 90+ i have not overclock my cpu ( 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F 2.50 GHz ) my bios are all on default

Hi my cpu (13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F, 2500 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) temp go 90+ when playing games. My bios settings set on default (UEFI).
My spec :
System Model: H610M-HDV/M.2
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Grafic crad :NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
CPU : 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F, 2500 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

  1. What is your cooler
  2. What is your case
  3. What configuration do you have the case fans in
  4. How many case fans do you have
  5. When does the CPU reach over 90c
If you have a good case, push and pull case fan configuration, three or more case fans, and a high-quality air cooler or AIO... then you should not have any heating issues. The max safe operating temps is right around 100c; I definitely would not want it that high. I would keep it around 60c if you can, but if not, you can get away with 70-75c and be fine; the stock cooler should still keep the CPU below the 80c mark, so you shouldn't be having many issues if everything was configured right.
