Hi, so i recently built my 1st pc the specs as follows:

  • Ryzen 5 3600 with Wraith stealth cooler

  • x470 Gaming plus Max

  • Patriot 3600 mhz

  • MSI Ventus 1660 super

  • Cooler Master 650 w

  • Silverstone FARA R1 (case)

  • Wd blue 1 tb and 240gb ssd

  • Also running 3 case fans

So i have noticed high idle temps and constant ramping of the fans, so decided to set a fan curve which reduced the idle temps to 50 to 60 Celsius and greatly reduced fan noise. However when playing games the cpu temps (tdie) rose upto 85 to 90+.

Using HWInfo and RTSS

Really stressed out , its my 1st build as well, appreciate the help

No, those temps are beyond...
idle temp is too high u might need to consider change the stock cooler to aftermarket cooler or do repaste.
my friend using gammax gt 400 ( ryzen 5 3600 and b450m asrock steel legend)
idle temp 40-45 , playing game 60-65

No, those temps are beyond normal. I use the wraith cooler for my 2600 and my temps are low. Did the cooler have enough thermal paste? Also try putting the cooler to max and just see the idle temps. I recommend getting a new cooler and some thermal paste. With the stock cooler I am getting 40C idle therefore it must be a problem with the cooler/thermal paste on it
