FIrst guess would be the added heat of the GPU when gaming...
You might try lowering all-core clock speeds by 100-200 MHz via Intel's XTU if CPU temps seem marginal, unless you are able to find a way to ramp up fan speeds.. (XTU often allows a core voltage offset, where maybe a negative offset of .05V might help as well...; as every chip is different, you can experiment with assorted offsets to see if it induces stability issues; in the event of a lockup, all settings changed within XTU will revert to stock/default if there has not been a proper shutdown...)
