Hi all
I received my PC on Thursday via cyberpower and whilst I'm loving the performance of this thing I am concerned about some of the temps I'm getting. I'm using core temp/ Msi dragon and getting similar readings (bios is reading a little lower, completely idle at 42c which is fine). general web browsing will sit around 56c to 65c (which seems ok). However, playing Cod MW, after a couple of games it is sitting around 80-85c sometimes peaking at 90/92c. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to gaming PC's but this feels quite high for a new build - but perhaps I'm wrong and I shouldn't be concerned? I am playing at 1440p 144hz with mid settings and understandably that's going to be stressful. Wondered if anyone had any advice or information to either help or put my mind at ease (metro exodus usually high 70s creeps into 80s)
System
Ryzen 9 3900 (non xt) stock 3.10
Asrock challenger rx5700 (non xt)
Cooler Master Masterliquid Lite 120 Liquid Cooling System
Tomahawk max b450
Thermaltake H550 case with built in rear fan
3x coarsair fans at the front
- The cooler master radiator fan has been switched with to Thermaltake case fan
With some tests it sometimes performs cooler with coarsair front fans turned off or set to 50- perhaps a mistake on my end not fully understanding airflow and the case properly.
Appreciate any help. guidance
