There have been many occurrences where my computer will start to freeze up because the AntiMalware Service Executable is taking up 60-80% of my CPU. When I open up Windows Defender and turn off Real-time Protection, the issue is resolved, but I would prefer to keep this on. I have never had an issue with this before.
Have you had this issue or found a solution? Please let me know.
