I have a Ryzen 5 2600x 16gigs of ram running 2133mhz and evga gtx 1080 FTW graphics card and I get stutters while playing the game is their a fix to this? Or do I need a CPU upgrade.
Okay so when I tried overclocking the ram to 3200mhz with a xmp my monitor mouse and keyboard won’t turn on why is it doing that? I found a fix to it, all I have to do is remove the cmos battery and put it back in to reset the changes back to defaultYep, 3200 mhz is just the minimum I’d recommend for ryzen these days. Although I wouldn’t go any faster than 3600mhz as you might not be able to get it to run any faster due to cpu/mobo limitations. Remember latency is also important, not just ram speed
Your ram is too slow and will greatly hinder your performance, especially on ryzen processors. Upgrade your ram to at least 3200 mhz cl16, 2x8 gb, and enable xmp once it’s installed. Or, if your current ram is rated to run faster than its current 2133 mhz, go ahead and select an XMP profile in BIOSRyzen 5 2600x 16gigs of ram running 2133mhz

Don't try overclocking your RAM by 1000mhz! You should purchase a 2x8gb 3200mhz kit.Okay so when I tried overclocking the ram to 3200mhz with a xmp my monitor mouse and keyboard won’t turn on why is it doing that? Maybe. I’ve seen many threads where people with 2000 series Ryzen can’t get beyond 2933-3200mhz. Theoretically yes you can but some just don’t seem to achieve it.If I can, can I go faster than 3200mhz
