High Definition Audio drivers with windows 7 Home edition malfunction

I have windows 7 Home edition installed. I have installed High Definition Audio Drivers from Microsoft. My problem is that when I run any sound file, after a minute, the sound is put off. Again I need to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers for sound card to work and the problem continues. Where is the problem? Is it with sound card or Windows? Even the earphones don't provide any sound. Please assist.

If it is a laptop or a factory-built desktop PC, and you are using the original, factory-fitted sound device, you must also install the device-specific audio driver package from that PC or laptop manufacturer's website. For that, you only need to know the model name & number of the PC or laptop you need the drivers for.
