I am experiencing an issue where latency on my Hybrid Drive (SSHD) is always averaging around 500ms up to 10000ms. It's 1TB storage and has been going for around 2 years now however I am pretty certain before performance should start deteriorating this much it should have some more years in it.
The rest of the system configuration is:
i7 8750H
iGPU: Intel UHD 630
Dedicated GPU: RTX 2070 Max-Q
RAM: (2x 8GB) 16GB 2667mhz
I am pretty certain the temps aren't the issue since my GPU normally averages 40C to 55C and my CPU around 50C to 80C
I also know its not my CPU speed or RAM free since i'm normally averaging around 60% - 80% RAM usage and my CPU when idle is around 3.9Ghz and when on games around 3.7Ghz to 3.5Ghz
I have tried fixing this via using Seatools (since the storage that is the issue is a 1TB Seagate Firecuda 5400rpm) and re-installing Windows multiple times and even running the pre-boot drive scanner but none of this has worked.
Aside from getting a new drive are there any other fixes?
