[SOLVED] High Download Speeds, Low Ping, High Packet Loss/ Lag While Gaming

Hey smart people, I'm desperately hoping you have some advice for me. I recently (within the week) started suffering from outrageous ping/ packet loss while gaming. I play on PC, and am hardwired to my router. Using Ookla speed test, my ping is 3 ms with 800-900 DL and UL. But when gaming, I suffer from terrible packet loss. Any advice?

Speedtest does not show packet loss and unless it is huge it will not affect the download speeds.

First test is to leave a constant ping command run to a common IP like 8.8.8.8. You want to see if this also shows packet loss. If it does not your problem is going to be much harder to find.
