Lol just wondering what will it be to game having high end cpu like AMD Ryzen 7 3800X with a low end gpu, not even sure if it can fit in the mobo

Solution
Normally, you want a balance of cpu and gpu resources for gaming.
If your games are sims, mmo, or strategy games, then fast single thread processor is best.
A lesser graphics card can still do well.

If your games are fast action games, then the graphics card is all important.

If you play multiplayer games with many participants, then a high thread processor like the 3800X is good.

If you wanted a simple rule of thumb for a balanced gamer, it would be to budget 2x the cost of the processor for the graphics card.
Welcome to the forums

My friend you will need to rephrase a bit

i can't really tell what you are asking

Is this an exisiting situation at your end? is this theoretical?

What GPU?

Can you elaborate on "not even sure if it can fit in the mobo "

Your GPU will be maxed in games where the GPU cannot provide enough graphical power

your CPU will have a minor benign effect on your GPU

Simply put your GPU will just be a limiting factor

Oh sorry just nvm that can't fit in the mobo thing, but can you even play pairing a high end cpu with low end gpu

That's easy

Basically check the system requirements for a specific game

If your GPU scores below what is needed it won't run or just be laggy

Your CPU will very mildly influence FPS, but it can't perform miracles

So having a buff cpu but a crappy GPU means you have a crappy GPU 😛

well just you look at my signature... personally i gained a huge overall performance boost when upgraded the cpu, so too in games, def not as much as id have gained if it was a gpu upgrade though, the thing is, CPU surely do help, but if you are having frame issues GPU is the way to go regardless... its actually better to have a slightly less than ideal or min requirement cpu than to have the high end boss cpu and a crap gpu... so.... yea.
