I almost have my computer build all picked out and ready to order. I would appreciate any feedback on my build and suggestions for it. Thanks!
Approximate Purchase Date: this week (the closer the better)
Budget Range: $2000--pretty flexible, up to $3000 but would like to keep it around $2000, Before Rebates and After Shipping
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Watching Movies, School (word processing, powerpoint, excel, etc.), Internet, Video and Photo Editing, etc.
Are you buying a monitor: Yes, probably 1920x1080
Do you need to buy OS: Yes, preferably Windows 7 (not planning on going to 8), 64 bit Professional
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg, some amazon
Location: City, State/Region, Country - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
Parts Preferences: Intel, Nvidia, Asus
Overclocking: Not at first but will later on
SLI or Crossfire: Not now but would like the option for in the future
Additional Comments: Prefer simple looking cases, need capable for demanding games (my primary is Battlefield 3)
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Current computer, a 7 year old Dell Inspiron 1520, can barely handle minecraft; it's just time to upgrade and I want to go big
