High end gaming pc gta iv 40fps

My specs:

Fx-8120 4.20ghz
8gb ram
Asus strix gtx 1060 6GB
700w corsair psu

I get 30-45 fps on maxed out settings view distance 50 is there something to bump it to 60fps?

First of all check if anything is Thermal Throttling (i.e. CPU or GPU). Also check if too many programs are running in the background via Task Manager as some programs can use fair amount of CPU and/or RAM which slows things down. GTA IV is a bit poorly optimized game. What resolution you're playing the game at? If its 1080p then your setup is powerful enough. If its 1440p then dial back some of the setting such as Anti-Aliasing, Ambient Occlusion and/or Texture Quality.

Pretty much this. That FX-8350 is going to seriously hold you back, especially since GTA V is more CPU bound then most [especially with Draw Distance cranked up].

Except for the fact its an 8120, that processor is severely under powered.

I play at 1080p no ambient or aa settings in gta iv i ise cry enb so i have those options but yame perfotmance with or without enb
