high end Graphics card that can fit in Corsair air 240

from what ive read on various websites and plenty reviews on youtube, the Corsair air 240 is a excellent case for airflow, but there is a problem with graphic cards and their size, if they fit normally, then its the power cables that prevent the door from being closed, is there any graphics cards out there on the market that are high end and can fit in the air 240, if not, is it worth getting its bigger brother, the air 540?

Hello friend. I have just purchased this case in the hope that my MSI R9-280 gaming ( not 280x) will fit in. I am very much aware of the issues a lot of folk are having with this case and the maximum HEIGHT of GPU it accommodates. There are two GTX -970 cards that will surely fit?? both are small form factor GPU's http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5252#sp and http://www.asus.com/uk/Graphics_Cards/GTX970DCMOC4GD5/. The case will of course hold many full sized GPU's too from what I read on the web but some of the wider/ taller cards either touch the side panel or don't allow the user to put the panel on at all! I shall know in a few days when my Air 240 arrives if my R9-280 3Gb card which is approx 130mm tall fits ok. Corsair I think should put a list of compatible GPU's that fit this case on their website. Personally unless you can find a build online with this exact case and the same exact GPU you have in mind with the side panel on...then I wouldn't be confident of compatibility.
