High end laptop underperforming in League of Legends

Hi. I have Lenovo Legion Y720 with i7-7700hq, 8 gb ram ddr4 and gtx 1060 6gb. When I play League of Legends on max graphic settings i have about 100 fps. When I change to the lowest settings, fps looks the same. I run league of legends on gtx card (Right click on icon and choose gtx card). Windows 10.
Other games like The Witcher 3 runs good (The Witcher 3 for example highest settings 60 fps).
I would be grateful for every response.

Your PC probably limits your FPS, many computers do this, mine used to limit at 60 for some dumb reason. I would say that is most likely your problem, or your FPS limiter in game is set?

FPS in game are uncapped, also in NVIDIA Control Panel I've set option 'Prefer max performance" or something like this.

League is also not highly optimized for insane FPS, 100 is pretty much the best it will look. Are you using the LoL Frame capture or are you using your own personal frame capture to see your frames?

Both. Well, it'll be ok, but while teamfights fps drops to 35... On gtx 1060... My GPU use is about 30-40% when I play LOL.

Ah teamfight FPS drops. With something like that on a 1060 is pretty odd. Has it always done this?

It shouldnt drop to 35 even in teamfights. I used to play league in a 4770k + R9 290 combo, FPS was usually around 200 and dropping down to 120 in teamfights. Make sure you select uncapped framerate in the game, make sure the game is using the right gpu also make sure your cpu cores are not parked and in energy settings allow the cpu to operate on maximum performance.

On desktop with gtx 760 and i5 with 4 cores i have 200 fps, 120 in teamfights. How to 'unlock' cpu to operate on maximum performance? Windows 10.

Have you reinstalled League at all? Maybe some files were corrupted? You said this was the only game that had FPS issues correct?

Yes, I have reinstalled League. I haven't noticed any significant difference. Yes, only this game has FPS issues. Overwatch, ultra settings - 60 fps, The Witcher, uber settings 45-60 fps. I haven't mentioned that also LOL launcher isn't smooth. The gpu usage is astonishing (30%).

League has always been a problem for me for some reason too, all sorts of problems. I remember one thing that helped me, and I don't know if it will help you, but move your administrator LOL execution file to your desktop and try that. That solved a lot of my problems back when I played League.

I have done this, game doesn't launch. Today my drivers were updated. I launched the game by lol.launcher.admin.exe. I have launched custom with one bot. Before minion spawn i had 140 fps. When I switched settings to low, fps raised by 10-15. It's weird. I remember that on desktop with gtx 760, on low settings, before minion spawn I had about 600 fps...

I have the same problem. I have dell 7577 with gtx1060 max q. When i plug in HDMI monitor its running pretty well. 200+fps and in tfs its like 150. But when i play on laptop screen i have same problems as you. I writed to nvidia support maybe its driver preforming badly and they said: if game have 60fps its playable.
