High end pc can't run big games well

So I have a high end pc and for some reason I just cant run high end games like arma 3 and pubg well and a few others I haven't a clue on what could be the problem so maybe anyone can help me out,

These are my pc specs:
Windows 10 pro
Sata hard drive 1tb
Sata hard drive 500gb
Ram: DDR4 16gb 2400mhz
Ram: DDR4 8gb 2133mhz, this is getting exchanged to the right speed soon.
GTX 1080 graphics card
I7 6700k 4ghz 8cpu

i expect its that ram stick, have you tried taking the different ram stick out and just trying that? i have a similar system except the ti version and it eats pubg for breakfast lunch and dinner! just an idea and worth a try.

Yeah I did try this but I didn't really give it a proper test, I also get like 20 fps on arma 3 it's just strange and it's just starting to annoy me haha.
