High End PC Running Poorly (Help Required)

My computer has resently encountered many issues. Starting with both its ram and disk usage running very high when on idle mode. I've tried a variety of potential fixes so far, but none of them have been successful for more than a few days. Also just recently my computer has crashed during an updated driver installation for my graphics card (nvidia gtx 1070). It also blue screened during a gaming session. All of this problems greatly confuse me because I have a rather high end pc, as shown by it's specs:
16 GBs of ram
Intel i7
Nvidia GTX 1070
Windows 10 (64 bit version)

Those are all of the specs I currently know, however I may get more if needed.

On a high-end PC you get high-end issues.
Check the 'Task Manager' and see which processes are using your system resources.
Were you able to install the GPU drivers successfully?
Have you check for malware?
