High FX-6100 Temperature

So I recently have been experiencing random shutdowns without warning and I originally thought it to be my PSU (still a possibility.) Then I downloaded aida64 to check the temps for my CPU and they appear to be extremely high. http://imgur.com/QJlYOro.

I've seen it go up to at least 91 degrees Celsius for the CPU and i've seen the cores go up to 75 - 80 degrees Celsius. Could this be my problem? I'm using a stock cooler and it don't think it's the greatest. Can anyone help me solve this?

Is this 91c idle? If you are using something like prime95 then 75'ish isn't too much to be worried about with the stock cooler.

Did you remove the plastic cover from the cooler before attaching it to the CPU?

Is your CPU overclocked and/or overvolted?

I believe I have removed the plastic cover. No my CPU is not overclocked. Not sure about overvolted.

The only software to reliably report AMD cpu temps is AMD overdrive . Its a free download
And it tells you the thermal margin ie how much hotter it can run before throttling back to stay cool
