High GPU temp

I just built a new pc with a GTX 1080 Zotac amp edition.I started playing PUBG on 1080p ultra.Was on menu screen and the graphics card was 82 degrees.Please help

Play the Game for like 10-20 minutes and monitor the temperatures in the background with a programm like MSI afterburner.
If temeperatures stays below 80-85 you dont have to worry :)

One thing you can do is checking if your PC has decent Airflow, so 2 Fans intake and 1 exhaust or more. Make sure that the Dust filters are clean and not full with dust and that the fans are actually able to pull fresh air and are not right against a Glaspanel or something like that.

It's borderline okay. Make sure your case has good airflow. Most people underestimate the importance of case fans. We even have a fan location on the side panel for GPU cooling.

If you can change the thermal paste without voiding the warranty, I recommend it too.
