Question High GPU usage with G-sync

Hello,
I recently got a 1440 144 hz g-sync monitor.
My setup is a 7700k at 4.6.
Asus 1080
DDR4 16GIG 3000

I noticed that my GPU usage is at 90-99% now playing games. Is that normal since v-sync is off and g-sync is taking over?

Yes. You want your GPU to be as close to 100% usage as possible.

OK - so as stated above high GPU usage is good. But, it doesn't have to do with gsync - it has to do with having a 1440p monitor trying to reach high refresh rates.
