[SOLVED] High I7 8700k Temps at Half Utilization

Hello, I recently upgraded my 6700k to a 8700k with a z370 board and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 air cooler. I've been doing some testing and pulled up pretty much my most demanding game and played for quite a while and it never went above 51% utilization and my temps hovered from 85-89c. I feel that doesn't seem right and would possibly cause issues if I wanted to start streaming on top of it. Should I re-apply my thermal paste and maybe make sure to get a better mount when putting the cooler back on? I'm not too sure of what troubleshooting type things to do. Any help is much appreciated

Firstly update bios, and also check voltages to see if they are normal compared to others.
Check a 100% load, to see if temps go even higher than 89 (turn it off if it gets to 100c obviously.)
If all else fails, reseed and remount the cooler.


If even that doesn't help, get a new cooler I guess.
