Question High idle memory usage, any ideas?

Hello,
I've currently got very high idle memory usage, i have 16gb ram and at idle i'm usually using about 7.9gb of ram, task manager doesn't show me what is using this i have no clue as to what is causing this, has anyone ever experienced anything like this and/or know a solution.
System:
CPU:Ryzen 5 1600x
RAM:Corsair LPX 8GB x 2 3000mhz
Mobo:Gigabyte b450 pro wifi mini itx (i never remember the actual name)
GPU:GTX 1660 Super

What do you mean task manager "doesn't show"? How do you know you're using 7.9 without task manager?

it doesn't show what is using it, i fixed the 8gb of ram usage as i'm a bit thick and forgot i tried primocache a while ago and forgot to turn it off but it's still using 4gb at idle which i think is still too much

actually no it's not fixed it still using 7.9gb at almost idle and then like 6gb idle
