Hey!My intel core i7 4790k idles at around 50-60 celcius!I have the corsair h75 liquid cooler,is there something wrong?Under load it never goes to 70 celcius!?

What could possibly be wrong? My pc dropped a while ago after that high idle temperatures came,my old cooler got broken so i got really high temps, could the thing that checks how warm the processor is be broken?!

Solution
The solution was to switch the fans so that they take air from outside the case. Now the pc is extremely quiet and im getting 55-60 while prime 95 running (worst case scenario). So if anyone else has this problem, make sure the cooler is taking its air from outside the case!

Could be. You can try other good softwares like HWinfo for measuring the temps. A 70c under load is normal, but for that cooler,it's hardly fine.
Perhaps the paste has not been applied accurately, might reapply the paste.

The major thing affecting the temperature is ambient temp/room temp, it could be a high room temp behind this, OR you have done Overclocking and put the voltage a little high.
