I have been experiencing some pretty bad latency issues playing online line in the last couple of weeks. I have spoken with my isp and they have created a ticket to look into it. In the mean time I would like to do all I can to assure that the problem is out of my hands.
I am using a wired connection on a desktop pc. My ping test results are as follows:

My router:

I have also noticed my d/l speed slightly reduced and my u/l speed nearly non existent. (0.5 Mbps).

Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

sending 22GB over a day is incredibly high unless youre streaming to followers? and even then, its high.

i dont send that in a month (i dont stream).

anti virus, spyware scan. maybe you have a dodgy program on your pc thats sending out traffic?
this is a cable connection or phoneline connection?

cable is easy, one phonecall and they can find the fault within a few minutes usually.

adsl phoneline connections can be tricky, as any point along your line from house to exchange could be playing up ... you could ask (in the uk) bt to do a line test. but this costs money if they dont find a fault.

this service used to be free, but ofc this is now a cash cow.

if youre in an old house, the old bell connection that sits at the top of your front door (where the phoneline enters the house) can also cause poor connections and even complete drops if someone calls (no amount of filters will stop that happening - requires removal).

Make sure youre the only one connected to your internet, log into your router and check its connection log and traffic meter.

This is a cable connection, and I am usually the only one using it. There are however several devices connected via wifi. One possibly suspicious thing I noticed was that the LAN sending was at 22GB over the last 30hrs.
