Hey everyone
I've been having this problem for a long time where I don't know what to do where my ram usage is very high while the programs' usages don't add up to it
This happens all the time while I'm casually browsing on Edge or Chrome and it would reach 60-70% where I only have a browser, Spotify, steam, and discord
or while I'm playing a game which would cause lag spikes due to 99% Ram Usage, I really don't know what is causing this I need your help
or is this just normal and I need to upgrade to 16GB ram??

My Specs:
Intel Core i3-8100 3.60GHz
Crucial (2x4) 8GB DDR4 2400MHZ
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050

this is when browsing with 4 tabs and discord, steam and Spotify are in the background.

You have a lot of stuff running there for 8GB of RAM. Some missing free RAM can hide under svchost or other treads, memory leak from a driver or for instance malware.

So what do I do
I can't figure out how to find if its a memory leak from a driver
and I've scanned and found no malware
