High motherboard temps?

So i just opened up HWmonitor just to notice that TMPIN4,5,6 and 8 are at 115c each, This is really strange i haven't noticed any errors with my pc and cpu/gpu temps are fine, only other program that shows high MB temps is speccy, Please help?

Most likely those sensors aren't connected. This is somewhat analogous to having an open analogue input.

The values just float and sometimes they settle somewhere and in your case, that "somewhere" is 115C.

Other programs may or may not show something similar. It depends on the program.

use hwinfo to compare readings .

As Jay pointed out, these are sensors channels that the software found. They are likely not used (not connected to circuitry beyond the Super IO chip) and are reading the highest possible value. This is common for generic software.

Just downloaded and opened up HWinfo and saw that the temps are exactly the same to the ones in HWmonitor Temp2 is at 111c temp3 and 4 are at 115c and temp9 hovers between 113-114c.

I think HWInfo probably uses the same methodology to read the sensors.

they show similar to the ones in bios most of the time .
