I bought High On Life recently first on Steam and then refunded and tried on Epic to see if there was just an issue with steam or the game itself. Every time I boot the game however it says it's running but doesn't load anything on the task bar or screen. I have made sure my system is up to date, meets the required specs for the game and have run it as an administrator, as well as made sure it can go through my firewall and anti virus and still nothing.
On task manager it shows up as a background process rather than an application. I have attached a link to show how it shows on task manager as well as on Process Explorer. If anyone knows how to fix this issue I would really appreciate the help I cannot find anything about this through searching and have spent a good 6 hours trying to figure it out.
