High Output/Speed Fan for Ventilation

Hey guys, I didn't really know where to ask this question so sorry if it's off topic or in the incorrect section.

I'm looking for a fan that I can use to extract fumes (e.g. solder fumes, plastic fumes, smoke, etc) through a pool hose. The pool hose has an inner diameter of about an inch and a half. The fan needs to be capable of sucking air through about 12 feet of that pool hosing.

What would be the best way to go about this? My budget is flexible but I'd rather not go over $25. What fan would be able to extract the most air at this price? I'm just looking for the fan, no mounts or anything, as I can most likely build the mount myself.

On a side note, I tried using a 6 inch fan with a big cone on the end that tapered down to the size of the hose, and it seemed like the cone restricted the fans ability to suck air. Can someone explain this?? Shouldn't it still suck the same amount of air?

Anyway, any advice is appreciated. Thanks for your time :)

As far as why your previous fan failed, it could've had too little static pressure to work properly. There are 2 kinds of fans; airflow optimized and static pressure optimized. Airflow fans are great in moving lots of air in unrestricted places, e.g floor fans are airflow fans. Static pressure fans are ideal to move air in restricted places, e.g vacuum cleaner fans are static pressure fans.

For your use, what you need is an industrial high static pressure fan since air needs to be pulled through the hose. For this use, you can go with Noctua industrial 120mm 3000 RPM fan,

For 120mm fan, Noctua industrial 3000 RPM fan has one of the highest static pressure there is, especially at this price range. Also, fan has Ingress Protection of 67, meaning that it's dust tight and can sustain submersion up to 1m in depth,

But since fan is far bigger than the hose, you need to jerry-rig an adapter cone between the fan and hose. Also, try to make the cone with 45 degree or lower angle, so you won't block the fan airflow path as much.
