High performance PC stutter issues

Good day;

We've recently built a massively overpowered computer and seem to be finding issues in certain games, where although the FPS is ridiculously high, we find micro-stutter issues. Game example would be CSGO, which in itself isn't too ressource demanding in the first place.

FPS in CSGO is always around 400.
Will micro-stutter once in a while, specially when turning quickly or models appears (players).
Inconsistent, sometimes disappears, but will happen again troughout the game, etc.

V-sync caused even more issues so we have disabled it.

V-Sync ingame is off.
V-Sync in Nvidia control panel is off.

Nvidia control panel set for high performance instead of powersaver

Here's what we're using primarely :
Intel Core i9-7980XE
SLI 1080TI
128GB Corsair Platinum RAM
M.2 500 GB SSD

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I'd wager it's the SLI. Try running only one GPU and see if the problem goes away.
