High ping on wired and wireless network

Hi

My internet has an insanely high ping whenever I stream.
Whenever I stream, for example on youtube, my ping skyrockets to 4000+. This should not happen since my internet strength is great. 50+ Mbps up- and download. Whenever Im not streaming I have a ping around 20-30. What can be the problem here?

Does the high ping happen all of the time?

High ping could be out of your control. Do not confuse wireless signal strength with delays that are occuring out on the internet.

Most likely there is some problem with the destination/target streaming site. May or may not clear. Also uour ISP may be throttling streaming.

A call to your ISP might help.
