High ping on wireless pc but low ping in wireless laptop

Hello there, I have a problem regarding my networking

I am using d-link router (dir-615), recently my pc have a problem in high ping but my laptop does not have the problems.

My pc adapter is 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter (TL-WN851ND) from tp-link.

My laptop is using intel/pro wireless 3945ABG network connection.

i tried pinging 192.168.0.1 and the result i get from pc was around 10-1000ms but on my laptop only 1-5ms. Does anyone have the solution to this problem? I cant seem to figure out this problem myself.

Do you have the latest driver for your adapter? How about the latest BIOS? How far is PC from router, how many electrical cords are around near the adapters antennas?

Yes sounds like driver - since the laptop get 1-5 ms - the network is fine !
