Two days ago, I encountered some lag in a video game. So, I decided to ping google.com. I used, ping google.com -t. I get pings of 200, while on speedtest, I get pings of 20. Then, I went back to the video game, and I had a ping of 45, while google's ping was still 200. I pinged yahoo.com, discordapp.com, and those were all fine. Is there a reason why google's ping is so high?

Did you trace route (tracert)? This will show where the longest latency to by IP address. Tracert will show the number of hops from your PC to the destination IP address. The hop that has the longest latency is the issue, if it lies outside of your home, it's beyond your control.
This could be due to your ISP's supplied DNS servers. You could try changing them to 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4 for primary and secondary respectively. These IP addresses are Google's DNS servers. You could also use 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220, these are OpenDNS's DNS servers.

Your could also see what tracert shows.

I tried those, but it didn't help. Could it be a device interfering with the connection? Because there was a period of time where the ping was stable at 20, while later, in a couple of hours, the ping jumped back up.
