high ping periodically

i hav train of 100 pings , but in every 10-20 seconds i keep getting 500-600 js for once.. and this is really annoying ....

You need to determine where the high ping times are coming from. It could be within your LAN, or on the outside circuit.

First thing I would do is test pinging to your own home router. If you see spikes in latency here, the problem is with your home hardware, cabling, or the computer.

If everything looks good in the LAN, I would attempt to reboot your modem. If that has no effect, and this issue doesn't clear up shortly, call your ISP.

i think isp is the problem.. but can anything be done so that i can remove the high pings. or smthing

If the the problem is outside of your LAN, there's little you can do outside of calling the ISP. The issues at that point are within the path your traffic is taking, which is related to hardware managed by an ISP.

If you have another option in your area, you could change providers, though there's no guarantee things will get better by doing this.
