Hello!

So when I am connected wirelessly on the internet with my pc if someone else watches a video from their mobile phone I will receive high ping on my games (especially League of Legends)

This does not happen when I use a cable to connect with my router but most of the times I am not able have my pc connected with an ethernet cable.

So is there a way to lower the ping?

Feel free to ask more info about my problem since I am not so sure what I should provide you

P.S. This is a speedtest when connected on the internet wirelessly

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Low-cost wifi access points will tank when multiple clients / bandwidth requirements increase. Also wi-fi will naturally add a small amount of latency, the encryption / decryption protocols take a small amount of time to work.

Either invest in a higher-quality AP, or some metres of CAT5 cable 😉

Solution
It`s very simple.

Wi-fi is good for web browsing , and maybe watching a few youtube videos.

But when you intend to game, if and where possible use a wired ethernet connection to the computer you are gaming on.
It is the best connection for a low ping, and latency values.
And a sustained maximum download and upload connection.
And stability.

Forget about any sort of Wi-Fi connection for gaming.
Just use a wired connection.

You have already confirmed yourself it is the one reliable solution.
