I have a an Asus RTX 2080 Turbo. The turbo model usually runs to temperatures up to 85°C, which is also the case with mine. Therefore, I set a custom fan curve and most of the time the fan stays at 70%, which is about 2860 rpm. Recently, I have started hearing this high pitched sound coming from the GPU when the fan becomes hearable at the rpm I stated above and higher. Is this a problem? Should it concern me? The performance hasn't changed since I started hearing the high pitched noise. I will be posting the recording with the sound as well.
